Just before the 2009 Fire Season kicked off, the Del Rosa Hotshots were certified in Low-Angle Rescue Operations by San Bernardino City Fire Department. Both Del Rosa and the San Bernardino City FD Search and Rescue unit started training in Low-Angle Rescue Operations on the Arrowhead Resort compound. Over the course of three days, techniques such as; single man lowering, anchoring, several methods of victim rescue, and use of the RPM system were discussed. As the Del Rosa Hotshots are always improving their skills and outreaches, Low-Angle Rescue has now become part of the many specialty skills which we hold.

A special thanks goes out to the San Bernardino City Firefighters who took time to train and certify us.
