How to Apply

The United States Forest Service does all of its hiring through AVUE. The applicant must create an account on AVUE for any and all applications to be looked at by prospective supervisors. AVUE helps create a profile for applicants who seek employment and allows for applicants to attach/create any résumé's or other important documents to their profile.

Beyond AVUE, we highly encourage those interested in becoming a Del Rosa Hotshot to come in to the station and participate in physical training with us. We maintain a high level of physical strength and stamina. Coming in will not only give you an idea of what you need to do physically, it will also give us a chance to put your face to your name on AVUE.
