The Del Rosa Hotshots Alumni and the Wildland Firefighter Foundation are seeking your support for an important community event. We are seeking door prizes, awards, and/or table sponsorship of $100 or more for a fundraiser to support the families of fallen and injured wildland firefighters. In return for your support, you will receive a receipt for the value of the product or service you donated and acknowledgement at the event. On Saturday, April 17th, we are hosting a Texas Hold'em Poker Tournament at the Mentone Moose Lodge - 2139 Mentone Blvd., Mentone, CA 92359 - to raise funds for the WIldland Firefighter Foundation. Active volunteers and supporters of wildland firefighters established the Wildland Firefighter Foundation, a 501(c)3 to maintain the Wildland Firefighters National Monument at the National Interagency Fire Center (NIFC) in Boise, Idaho. Please visit http://www.wffoundation.org. Since 1999, the Foundation has also provided emergency support services to the families of seriously injured and firefighters killed in the line of duty. Families left behind, many with young children, often find themselves with few resources, and the Foundation steps in to help. The Wildland Firefighter Foundation honors past, present, and future members of the wildland firefighting family by helping to maintain the wildland firefighter monument, operating a financial fund known as the Family Assistance Program, and partnering with private and interagency organizations to educate the public about wildland fires and promoting excellence and safety in firefighting. If you are able to contribute, support or participate in this worthy fundraising effort, please contact Event Coordinator's: Jack Masters at jmasters@fs.fed.us, phone # (909) 383 5567m or Jim Tomaselli at jtomaselli@fs.fed.us, phone # (951) 318 1189 or send donations directly to: Del Rosa Hotshots Alumni Attn: Jim Tomaselli 34428 Yucaipa Blvd. - Suite E-315 Yucaipa, CA 92399-2474
